Congratulations to Scholastic Art Awards Regional Winners!!! 

2007 Scholastic Art Awards

The Scholastic Art Awards program was established in 1923 and is a national program.  All 50 states participate in this program, and it is the most respected and prestigious of its kind in the country.  It seeks to identify emerging young artists through these awards.  The program has encouraged more that 12 million student participants, recognized more than 2 million young artists, and distributed more that $20 million in awards and scholarships.

 The Eastern/Central North Carolina Regional competition is held at Barton College in Wilson. 

THIS YEAR, THE 2007 SCHOLASTICS ENTRIES INCLUDED:

61 Counties represented                     2077 entries

210 Gold Keys awarded                       WS/FCS received 27 gold keys

192 Silver Keys awarded                     WS/FCS received 28 silver keys
